New Delhi: Bank of Baroda has increased interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) up to Rs 2 crore. After the adjustment, the FD interest rate of the general public may increase to 7.25 per cent. Senior citizens depositing money in Bank of Baroda can earn up to 7.75 per cent on their fixed deposits. The new rates are applicable from today i.e. May 12, 2023.
Latest Fixed Deposit (FD) Rates of Bank of Baroda for General Investors
For deposits maturing in the next 7 to 45 days, Bank of Baroda is offering 3 percent interest rate. FDs maturing in 46 to 180 days will get interest at the rate of 4.5 per cent. Fixed deposits with maturity of 211 days or less will get interest at the rate of 5.75 per cent. The bank will pay interest at the rate of 6.75 per cent on fixed deposits with maturity between one and two years. ,Also read: No pay hike for Microsoft employees this year,
The bank will provide an interest rate of 7.05 per cent on FD tenure above two years and up to three years. Before this period, 6.75 per cent interest rate was offered. The bank offers an interest rate of 6.5 per cent on FDs with maturity between three and ten years.

The highest interest rate, 7.25 per cent, is offered by Bank of Baroda on special deposits referred to as Baroda Tricolor Plus Deposit Scheme for a period of 399 days.
Latest Fixed Deposit (FD) Rates of Bank of Baroda for Senior Citizens
The bank offers an interest rate of 3.5 per cent to senior citizens on deposits maturing between 7 to 45 days. 5 percent interest rate will be paid on FDs maturing in a period of 46 to 180 days.
Deposits maturing in a period of 181 to 210 days will be given interest at the rate of 5.75 per cent. Seniors will get interest at the rate of 6.25 per cent on deposits maturing in 211 days or less. On fixed deposits with maturity between one and two years, senior adults are eligible for an interest rate of 7.25 per cent.
The bank will pay interest at the rate of 7.55 per cent on deposits with maturity of two years or more. Earlier, an interest rate of 7.25 per cent was available for this period. The bank pays 7.15 per cent interest on FDs maturing in three to five years and 7.55 per cent on FDs maturing in five years or more.
Bank of Baroda gives the highest interest rate of 7.75 per cent on special deposits known as Baroda Tiranga Plus Deposit Scheme for a period of 399 days.
