New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 exam on Sunday, November 27, 2022. The exam will be conducted in three sessions in 151 test cities across the country. Candidates must report at the exam center by the reporting time specified on their CAT 2022 Admit Card.
It is necessary to reach the examination center one hour thirty minutes before the commencement of the examination. The deadline for entries is 15 minutes before the start time. Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the examination.
For the convenience of the candidates, the Google Map link included in the electronic version of the Admit Card may be particularly useful in locating the examination venue.
The first slot of the exam (morning session) is from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the second session (afternoon session) is from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and the third session is from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. 30 hrs, as per CAT exam timetable.
Once the candidates enter the examination centre, the valid admit card and original ID proof will be checked by the examination staff and will be informed about the designated lab.

important points to remember
- Candidates must remember to carry their CAT 2022 admit card (with photograph affixed) and original ID proof. PWD candidates having scribe will have to carry the scribe affidavit to the test centre.
- Socks, plain sweaters, pullovers and cardigans (without any pockets) are allowed inside the testing lab, it is important to follow the dress code.
- Prohibited material will be removed from the possession of the candidates if found during the search.
- Candidates having a metal implant, pacemaker etc., are required to bring a supporting medical certificate to the examination center.
- Candidates have to go through IRIS scanning and photo capture process during registration inside the examination hall.
- Ensure that the details like name and photograph appearing on the computer screen are correct and there is no discrepancy in the signature on the attendance sheet.
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination, unless it is a medical emergency.
