Chhattisgarh: Board Toppers Taken On Helicopter Ride As Promised By CM Bhupesh Baghel

New Delhi: As promised by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the toppers of class 10 and 12 were taken on a helicopter ride by the Chhattisgarh government in Raipur on Saturday. In May this year, Baghel had announced that meritorious students would be taken on a helicopter ride along with district toppers.

The students were excited after taking a ride in the helicopter and said that such activities motivate them to do better next time.

While talking to ANI the students said, “We really liked it, it was the first time we took a helicopter ride. Other students will also be encouraged to do well in their studies. Our parents are also excited. Were.”

Speaking to the news agency, Minister of State Premsai Singh Tekam also reiterated that the move was to encourage children to do better in education.

“The program is to encourage the students as the CM announced that the students who will top class 10 and 12 will be provided helicopter ride. That promise was fulfilled”, he was quoted as saying by ANI.

Out of 125 students who took joyride, 90 students topped the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination, while 35 secured merit in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.

In May, Baghel had announced to provide free rides to children who did well in exams.

The Chief Minister had said, “Air travel is everyone’s desire. I believe that helicopter ride will inculcate the desire to fly high in the skies of life in the minds of children and they can use their skills to achieve their goals.” Will speed it up even more.” PTI.

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) or CG Board had declared the class 10 and class 12 results for the 2022 board examinations on May 14.
