National Testing Agency (NTA) has re-opened the CUET UG 2023 application window. The latest move for the testing agency comes in the wake of several requests from candidates across the country. CUET UG 2023 application window will be re-opened from today, April 9 to April 11, 2023. Interested candidates who were not able to submit their applications earlier can do so within the above mentioned time period. Online applications for CUET UG 2023 are to be submitted at the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in. The last date to submit the CUET UG 2023 application is April 11, 2023 by 11:50 PM.
“Following requests from many students, we have decided to re-open the application portal for CUET-UG on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and will close on Tuesday (April 11, 2023) at 11.59 pm. Students are requested to visit https://cuet.samarth.ac.in for more details,” tweeted UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar on April 8, 2023.

Earlier last week, the UGC chairman also notified that over 14 lakh applications have been received for CUET UG 2023, and around 242 universities will participate in the latest iteration of the CUET exam. “Around 14 lakh applications have been received for CUET-UG 2023. The number of applications for 2023 is 41% higher than last year. We have also seen an increase in the number of participating universities. In 2022, it was 90, but it will increase to 242 in 2023. This significant growth indicates that CUET-UG is becoming a popular option for admission to UG programmes.
Earlier, NTA had ended the CUET-UG 2023 application process on March 30, 2023. As per the previous schedule, the last date to submit the CUET-UG 2023 application was March 12, 2023, which was later extended till March 30. The official schedule notified earlier, NTA will release the exam city intimation slips tentatively on April 30, 2023. While the admit card for the exam is expected to be released in the second week of May 2022, the CUET – UG 2023 exam is scheduled to be held from May 21 to May 31, 2023.
