The BJP on Monday claimed a scam in Delhi’s education department, alleging that the city administration has increased the budget for classroom development in existing schools in defiance of the norms of the Central Public Works Department, news agency PTI reported. .
According to a report released by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) to the Vigilance Department of the Delhi government in 2020, the construction cost was increased by Rs 326 crore or 53% more than the tender price.
Speaking at a press conference, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said: “Corruption is in the DNA of Arvind Kejriwal. It is not AAP sarkar but pap ki sarkar (government of sins). He and (Manish) Sisodia are experts in corruption.. . Where did this money go? Did it go into your pocket, Arvind Kejriwal ji? Did you pay attention to the report? What action did you take on it?”

He further said, “It has been found that Babbar and Babbar Associate were also appointed by the Delhi government without tender. This is a case of serious corruption.”
