GATE 2023 Application: Modification Window Opens Today At Gate.iitk.ac.in — Check Steps Here

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur on Tuesday started the application correction process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023). Those candidates who want to edit category, paper and exam city can modify such details online at gate.iitk.ac.in. For this, candidates need to log in to the portal using the credentials. Also, note that the last date for correction in GATE 2023 application form is November 14.

To make changes, the candidate will have to pay an additional fee, and no editing will be allowed after November 14. Therefore, candidates need to be extremely careful while making changes in the application form before the last date.

The exam will be held in 2022 on 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th February. The candidate’s response will be available on February 15 and the answer key will be available on February 21, 2023.

Candidates can submit their observations for answer keys from February 22 to February 25, 2023.

Steps to make changes in GATE 2023 Application Form

Firstly visit the official website of GATE- gate.iitk.ac.in.

Log in using your Enrollment Number/Email ID and Password.

Then proceed to carefully make the necessary changes in the application form of GATE 2023.

After that click on ‘Submit’ button.

IIT Kanpur has removed Ambajogai city of IIT Bombay region from the exam center list due to operational issues. So those who had selected Ambajogai city as an exam city while filling the form will be able to opt for new city/cities in place of Ambajogai during GATE 2023 application form correction facility without any fee.

GATE 2023 exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to various PG courses. Candidates who qualify the exam also become eligible to apply for various PSU recruitment through GATE exam. The exam is jointly conducted by the seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee and Kanpur) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.
