Gold price today 28 November 2022: Gold falls by Rs 61; silver sheds Rs 146

New Delhi: Gold on Monday declined by Rs 61 to Rs 52,822 per 10 grams in the national capital amid fall in the prices of the precious metal overseas.

In the previous trade, the yellow metal had reached Rs 52,883 per 10 grams.

Silver also declined by Rs 146 to Rs 61,855 per kg.

Dilip Parmar, Research Analyst, HDFC Securities said, “A weaker rupee and strong physical demand after the wedding season helped limit the downside in domestic gold prices.”

In the international market, gold was trading lower at $1,750.46 an ounce while silver was trading lower at $21.25 an ounce.

“Comex gold falls on rising unrest in China over COVID zero controls, dollar strengthens. Haven demand seen after Chinese protest against COVID restrictions,” Parmar said. he said.
