Government Announces Reimbursement, Financial Assistance for Sainik School Cadets

The Government has made provisions to reduce the financial burden on the cadets in Sainik Schools. Budgetary provision made for providing National Defense Academy (NDA) incentive to all cadets joining NDA/Technical Entry Scheme/Naval Academy for classes 11 and 12 in the form of reimbursement of entire tuition fee paid by these cadets Are.

The decision comes following reports from two Sainik Schools functioning under the erstwhile pattern of Sainik Schools that representations have been received regarding the fee structure prevalent in these schools.

“Remaining students are also given some assistance to the extent of availability of funds.
