Gujarat: HM Amit Shah Lays Foundation Stone Of Country’s First Cooperative-Run Sainik School

Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of Shri Motibhai R Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School in Mehsana, Gujarat through virtual medium. This school is located Near Dudhsagar Dairy, Mehsana. The initiative is a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to set up 100 new Sainik Schools on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis.

During the program, Amit Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not only bringing development in the country but actively involving everyone in the country’s progress.

Home Minister Amit Shah said, “The work of water revolution in Gujarat was done by the then Chief Minister and the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Modi has worked to increase the water level in Gujarat through the Sujalam Suflam scheme.”

He further said that the central government has played an important role in connecting people with the cooperative sector.

The PM has done the politics of development. Emphasis has been laid on starting Sainik Schools to inculcate a sense of national pride in children. Speaking at the inauguration of Sagar Sainik School in Mehsana, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel said, PM has said that if the efforts of the society increase, the pace of development will double.

Bhupendra Patel further said that PM has given a gift to the daughters of the country, girls have also been given admission in Sainik schools and 10% seats are reserved for them in Sainik schools.

Senior cabinet ministers including Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were present at the foundation stone laying ceremony. Sainik School will be established in Boriyavi village, 11 km away from Mehsana city. Doodh Sagar Dairy, a leading cooperative, will start this project at a cost of Rs 75 crore.
