Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) will offer 10 scholarships to the top 100 JEE Advanced 2023 rankers. This step has been taken as a continuation of the continuous efforts of the premier engineering institution to promote academic excellence. Under its ‘Bright Minds’ scholarship scheme, IIT Kanpur offers 10 prestigious scholarships to candidates who come in the ‘Top 100’ rank list of JEE Advanced 2023. Notably, this is the third year in a row that IIT Kanpur will be providing these. Attractive scholarship for JEE Advanced candidates.
The scholarship was first introduced in the year 2021 with the support of IIT Kanpur alumnus Lokvir Kapoor. The objective of the scholarship program is to help meritorious students retain themselves in the IIT ecosystem while breaking financial barriers. The scholarship covers full tuition fees and living expenses. The scholarship will be awarded to candidates who take admission in B.Tech/BS program at IIT Kanpur for the session 2023-24. Each candidate selected under the scholarship will be awarded an amount of Rs 3 lakh per annum. Selected students will be offered scholarship for all the four years if they maintain a consistent CPI of 8.0.

On an average a student at IIT Kanpur spends around INR 12 Lakhs in the entire 4 academic years of the undergraduate B.Tech course. The ‘Bright Minds’ scholarship scheme covers every financial aspect of the selected candidates to ensure that their bright and meritorious journey is never stopped by financial constraints.
