Indian women’s cricket team’s security in England compromised, Taniyaa Bhatia’s bag stolen

India wicketkeeper-batsman Tania Bhatia on Monday tweeted on social media site Twitter and claimed that her personal belongings were robbed while staying at Marriott Hotel London Maida Vale during the recently concluded white-ball tour. England. Tania wrote, “Shocked and disappointed by the Marriott Hotel London Maida Vale management. Someone walked into my private room and accompanied me with cash, cards, watches and jewelery during my recent stay as a part of the Indian women’s cricket team. Stole my bag. So insecure.”

She is one of the two standby players for the Women’s Asia Cup to be played in Sylhet, Bangladesh from 1–15 October.
