India wicketkeeper-batsman Tania Bhatia on Monday tweeted on social media site Twitter and claimed that her personal belongings were robbed while staying at Marriott Hotel London Maida Vale during the recently concluded white-ball tour. England. Tania wrote, “Shocked and disappointed by the Marriott Hotel London Maida Vale management. Someone walked into my private room and accompanied me with cash, cards, watches and jewelery during my recent stay as a part of the Indian women’s cricket team. Stole my bag. So insecure.”

After playing in a warm-up match against England Development Squad Women on 6 August, Tania did not play a single match on the tour as Richa Ghosh and Yastika Bhatia were India’s favorite wicket-keeping options in T20Is and ODIs respectively. She is one of the two standby players for the Women’s Asia Cup to be played in Sylhet, Bangladesh from 1–15 October.
