But days after the deal, he came under fire for unexpected layoffs, mass Twitter resignations and the blue tick controversy. Now the founder of Shaadi.com, Anupam Mittal has given a big statement regarding the new boss of Twitter, Elon Musk.
Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal tweeted, “Clever as he is, why does Elon Musk fail to understand that if you parade your subordinates naked in town halls, it’s easier for them to piss on you in public?” goes.” Respect is a two-way street, isn’t it, he continued. After taking over Twitter, Musk fired 50 percent of the company’s employees.
Mittal’s post comes at a time when Tesla CEO and world’s richest man Elon Musk is coming under fire for several problems related to the company and the microblogging website.
The business tycoon has fired senior executives, furloughed employees, given them an “ultimatum” resulting in their resignations referred to as exodus, and an $8 monthly fee to pay for Blue Tick verification have demanded ever since they bought the tech behemoth. The last week of October is currently suspended but is likely to return on November 29.
Most recently, he allowed former US President Donald Trump to return to the stage in January 2021 after being barred by unrest at the US Capitol. The 51-year-old South African businessman bought Twitter in a $44 billion deal. Forbes estimates that he owns about 82 percent of the business.
