JEE Main 2023 Exam Date: Registration To Begin Soon, Know Eligibility And Other Details

New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) may soon start the registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Mains) 2023. Candidates have to apply and submit their application cum registration form on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The report said that the JEE Main 2023 exam will also be conducted in two sessions like last year, i.e. session 1 and session 2. Session 1 will start in January 2023 and session 2 will start in April 2023.

The exam will be conducted in January and April 2023. JEE Main Registration 2023 comprises of several steps such as preliminary registration, which includes filling the application form with personal and academic details, uploading of documents, payment of application fee and submission of application form.

The total number of applicants in JEE Main 2022 was around 9.5 lakhs per session, with many aspirants who repeated the exam in each session aiming to score the best. This year, 24 candidates secured full marks with 100 percentile and rank 1 in the engineering entrance exam.

To apply for JEE Main, candidates need to clear class 12 or equivalent examinations from a recognized board. Candidates must have passed in 5 subjects – Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject or any other subject.

JEE Main is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to BE/B.Tech/B.Planning/B.Arch courses. The officials conduct JEE Main for Paper 2. JEE Main Paper 1 is conducted for admission to BE/B.Tech courses in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, while Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses. The exam pattern of BTech paper will consist of multiple choice questions and numerical questions. JEE Mains 2023 for BTech (Paper 1) will consist of three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
