Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan Asks For Resignation Of 9 Vice-Chancellors By Monday Morning

Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Sunday demanded the resignation of the vice-chancellors of nine universities in the state, citing a recent Supreme Court judgment that APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in this city for violating UGC norms. The appointment of K VC was invalidated.

“The Governor of Kerala has directed that the resignations of nine university vice-chancellors reach him by 11.30 am on Monday,” the Raj Bhavan said in a statement.

According to a tweet from the Kerala Raj Bhavan on behalf of the governor, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University is one of the nine vice-chancellors.
