LETTER-WRITING is an important channel of communication between people who are geographically distant from one another. In earlier times when the telephone and e-mail were not available, the only means of communication between people was through letters.
So, here I am going to show how you can write a letter. In this article, we will provide you with detailed information regarding the formal letter format about sharing the joys of village life to a friend. Read on to know everything about formal letter format. Below I have given the full format of a letter, by following which you can write the letter and can apply for.
Sitapur, Jalpaiguri,

My dear Saral,
The address at the top will tell you that I am now in a village in Jalpaiguri. An uncle of mine is a schoolmaster in the local school and I propose to spend my vacation with him.
You may wonder at my decision. You have always talked of villag: ife as dull and boring. But that is not really the case. A village also has its charms. There are no smoke and dust, things that are such a danger of city-life. The articles of food are fresh and pure. Every bouse here has enough of air and light, and the greenery all around soothes the eyes. You are free from the din and bustle that weaken the nerves of the city-dweller. The water you draw from tubewells is not inferior to the pipe-water in the city, and you get medical help from the health centre.
On the social side also the village is not without its attractions. The people know one another and so there is fellow-feeling among them, which is not to be found among city-dwellers. You may not have cinemas and theatres, but in their place you have playgrounds and occasional jatras and kirtans. Perhaps you may think that I am drawing too rosy a picture. In that case, I should request you to come up liere and know by experience what village life really is.
.Please accept my love
Yours sincerely,
Simran
