The Indian School of Business (ISB) recently organized the ISB PGPMAX Leadership Summit 2022, which was attended by the Governor of Telangana and the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Dr Tamilisai Sundararajan among others.
The PGPMAX Leadership Summit is an annual event organized by ISB’s PGPMAX (Postgraduate Program in Management for Senior Executives) alumni and students to connect current and future leaders of the ISB community under one roof. This year, the theme of the summit was: “Where Leaders Meet – Strategy, Synergy, Success.”
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Sundararajan, who was the guest of honour, shared some of his personal life experiences and provided some management insights with the gathering. He emphasized the need to focus on the small things in terms of management, and claimed that if the small things are fixed, then the big things will move forward.
“Managing our subordinates, assistants and workforce is an art. Whatever the business, if we are able to manage our workforce, we can achieve half the success,” she said.
The Governor also talked about achievement, failure and the need to maintain a good attitude.
“We should celebrate success even when we face failures if all our efforts are sincere. We must sharpen our skills and continue to grow, no matter where we are, otherwise thousands of people will overtake us.”

The PGPMAX Leadership Summit was attended by many influential and promising leaders from different sectors, where they shared insights on management and leadership. Among those present were Naveen Mittal, Commissioner, Collegiate Education and Technical Education, Government of Telangana, who delivered the inaugural address; and PwC India President Sanjeev Krishna who spoke on the macroeconomic outlook for India’s future.
