NEET UG-2022 Result: Rajasthan Girl Bags First rank, 18 Female Candidates In Top 50

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday declared the result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Undergraduate (NEET UG 2022) on its official website – neet.nta.nic.in. Rajasthan’s Tanishka is the first All India Rank (AIR) holder, while Delhi’s Ashish Batra has secured second and Karnataka’s Hrishikesh Nagabhushan Gangule has secured the third position as per the toppers’ list.

NEET-UG 2022 exam has been cleared by 9.93 lakh candidates. The overall pass percentage stood at 56.28, which was almost the same as last year. This year, a total of 1872343 candidates registered for NEET UG, out of which 1764,571 appeared and 99,3069 qualified in the exam. The testing agency has released the NEET 2022 cut off for all the students who are waiting for their NEET UG Result 2022.

neet toppers list 2022

Tanishka shared the same score (715) with the second, third and fourth rankers, reported news agency ANI. , Although the second and third rankers also scored 99.99 percentile, the ranks were decided on the basis of NTA’s “tie-breaker” formula. The report said that around 18 female candidates made it to the top 50 list, while 32 male candidates made it to the top 50 list in India.

Others in the top 10 in the country include Rucha Pawashe (715) from Karnataka, Erabeli Siddhartha Rao (711) from Telangana, Rishi Vinay Balse (710) from Maharashtra, Arpit Narang (710) from Punjab, Krishna SR (710). . From Karnataka, Jeel Vipul Vyas (710) from Gujarat, and Hajik Parvez Lone (710) from Jammu and Kashmir.

Out of 7,63,545 who appeared for the exam, 4,29,160 men have cleared the exam. Whereas out of 10,01,015 candidates who appeared for NEET UG 2022, 5,63,902 women have cleared the exam.

Most of the candidates qualified from Uttar Pradesh, followed by Maharashtra.

Steps to Download NEET-UG Result

Students can also check their scores on NTA’s website nta.ac.in. Candidates can download the result by using the login credentials- application number, date of birth.

  • Go to neet.nta.nic.in. to download the result
  • Click on the notification section and search for the NEET UG 2022 Direct Result link.
  • Enter the login details like roll number and date of birth on the login page
  • Click on the “Submit” option.
  • Your NEET UG 2022 result will appear on the screen.
  • Download, save and print the scorecard for future reference.

From this year, NTA removed age as tie-breaking. This means that if there is a tie between two students, then NTA will settle it on the basis of marks obtained in Biology. If it persists, preference is given to the student with higher marks in Chemistry, followed by the candidate with fewer wrong answers.

Along with the provisional answer key, the National Testing Agency also released the NEET OMR response sheet of the candidates. Using the NEET answer key and OMR answer sheet, candidates can calculate their estimated marks.

A total of 18.72 lakh candidates had registered for the entrance exam held on July 17. According to the agency, around 95 per cent candidates appeared for NEET UG. The medical entrance exam was conducted at 3,570 centers in 497 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. This year more than 16 lakh students took the NEET UG 2022 exam.
