Attention Candidates! The admit card for NEST 2023 exam has been issued. Registered candidates who have registered for the examination can now download their NEST Admit Card from the official website by using their login credentials like Application Number/Login ID and Password. However after downloading the admit card, candidates are advised to check and verify all the details mentioned on the website. As per the official schedule, NEST 2023 exam will be conducted on June 24, 2023. NEST 2023 result will be released on July 10, 2023.
NEST 2023 exam will be conducted in online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode in two sessions: 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 02:30 PM to 06:00 PM. NEST 2023 exam will be conducted at exam centers in 122 cities across the country.
There will be a total of four sections in the NEST 2023 exam: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, each section carrying 50 marks. However, the final merit list of the shortlisted candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks in the best three sections attempted by each candidate. The section in which a candidate scores the least marks will be dropped. Furthermore, a correct answer will be rewarded with 2.5 marks, while an incorrect answer will attract a penalty of -1. NEST exam is a national level entrance examination for admission to 5-year integrated M.Sc programs in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics at National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Nuclear. Energy Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
Candidates who join these integrated M.Sc programs through NISER NEST screening test in the above institutes receive an annual scholarship of Rs.60,000 under the DISHA program of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. These students are also provided an additional grant of Rs 20,000 per year for summer internship.

- Click on the link to download admit card on the homepage
- In the new page that opens, enter your Application Number / Login ID and Password
- Your NEST 2023 Admit Card will now be displayed on your screen
- Check and download your admit for reference and take multiple printouts of the same
