NID Admissions 2023: Registration Deadline Extended Till December 22: Check Details

India’s premier design college, NID (National Institute of Design) has extended the registration deadline for NID DAT 2023. Candidates seeking admission to B.Des and M.Des degree courses in Ahmedabad can apply for NID DAT 2023 till December 22. , 2022. Earlier, the last date to apply was December 16, 2022. Applications are to be submitted in online mode only at the official NID website – admission.nid.eu. However, candidates can also submit their NID DAT 2023 application form from December 22 to December 25, 2022, with a late fee of Rs 1,500.

While filling the NID DAT 2023 Application Form, candidates need to first register on the portal, fill the online application form, upload relevant documents and pay the application fee online. NID DAT 2023 application fee is Rs 3,000 for all candidates except SC/ST/PWD candidates. The application fee for SC/CT/PWD candidates is Rs 1,500.

Notably, National Institute of Design (NID) conducts NID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) every year for admission to its B.Des and M.Des courses. Design Aptitude Test is a two-stage selection process where candidates first have to go through the DAT Prelims Test, and those who qualify in the Prelims Test proceed to the next DAT Mains Test. DAT Mains basically consists of a studio test. However, candidates seeking admission to M.Des course of NID will also have to appear for the personal interview round.

The preliminary exam of NID DAT 2023 is scheduled to be held on January 8, 2023. Candidates who have successfully registered for NID DAT 2023 will be able to download the admit card online from January 2 onwards. The result for NID DAT Prelims 2023 will be declared soon on the official website soon after the exam. The dates for DAT Mains, Personal Interview and Final Merit List will be notified accordingly. • Visit the official website of NID – entries.nid.edu
• Click on the ‘Admission’ link under the ‘Quick Links’ tab on the homepage
• Click on “Signup” in the new page
• In the new page that opens, select the course you are applying for; B.Des or M.Des, your category and nationality
• Fill the registration form with your basic details, choose a password, check the acknowledgment box and submit the form
• Log in to the portal again using your email, date of birth and password
• Fill the application form completely
• Upload relevant documents, pay application fee online
• Submit NID DAT 2023 Application Form
• Download and save the confirmation page for future reference
