Jamia Hamdard New Delhi and BITS Pilani are followed by the prestigious Pharmacy College of Hyderabad. Earlier last year, in the NIRF Ranking 2022, Jamia Hamdard was ranked as the best pharmacy college in India while NIPER Hyderabad was ranked second last year. However, this year the position of these premier pharmacy colleges has been reversed from last year.
Earlier today, June 5, 2023. Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh released the 8th edition of NIRF rankings. NIRF evaluates and evaluates educational institutions in India on various parameters and prepares rankings for such institutions under various categories every year. The parameters on which NIRF evaluates educational institutions include teaching learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.
For 2023, NIRF has released the ranking of educational institutions in India, NIRF Ranking 2023 in 11 different categories. These categories include: Overall, University, College, Research, Medicine, Dentistry, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering and Architecture. Notably, the first NIRF ranking was announced in 2016. Since then, NIRF rankings have been representing academic excellence, outreach, development and many other parameters that have a role to play in the growth and progress of an educational institution.
