NTA JEE Main 2023 Exam Dates Announced, Registrations Begin On jeemain.nta.nic.in

NTA has finally released JEE Main 2023 notification online at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 exam dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, age limit and other details have been announced in brief in the official notification released on December 15, 2022. As per the notification, JEE Main 2023 exam will start from January 24, 2022.

Furthermore, the JEE Main 2023 exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper-1 will be conducted for admission to B.Tech/BE programmes, while Paper-2 for B.Arch and B. Planning course. JEE Main 2023 exam will also be held in two sessions as before. For more details, candidates are advised to go through the official notification carefully.

As per the official notification, NTA JEE Main Paper-1 Exam 2023 for Session-1 will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023. Session-2 of Paper-1 exam will be held from 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 2023. Paper-2A and Paper-2B (B.Arch and B.Planning) exam will also be conducted twice in January and April respectively. ,

Registration for JEE Main Session 1 is live at jeemain.nta.nic.in, and the last date to apply is January 12, 2023. The announcement of cities of examinations and availability of JEE Main 2023 admit card will be announced in the second and second session. Third week of January respectively. Depending on the number of papers and sessions as well as the category of a particular student, JEE Main 2023 application fee can range from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000.

JEE Main 2023 Session 2: Important Dates

The session 2 of JEE Main 2023 exam will start from April 6, 2023. The online applications for session 2 will start from 7th February, 2023 and the online applications will end on 7th March, 2023. The announcement of cities of examination and availability of admission cards will be in the third and last week of March 2023 respectively.

JEE Main 2023 exam: Exam duration and changes

JEE Main 2023 exam will be conducted in two shifts: Shift 1 and Shift 2. Shift 1 will be conducted from 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon while Shift 2 will be conducted from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. The duration of the exam will be of 03:00 hours for candidates opting for JEE Main 2023 Paper-1 exam or individual Paper 2A (B.Arch) or Paper 2B (B.Planning). However, for those opting for Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning), the duration of the exam will be of 03:30 hours.

JEE Main 2023: Application Fee

Depending on the number of papers and sessions a candidate appears in NTA JEE Main 2023 as well as the category of the candidate, the JEE Main 2023 application fee can range anywhere from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000. JEE Main 2023: How to apply?

step 1: Visit the official NTA JEE website – jeemain.nta.nic.in

step 2: On the homepage, click on “JEE (Main) Session 1 Application”.

step 3: In the new page, again click on the link which reads “JEE (Main) Session 1 Application”.

step 4: In the new window that opens, click on “New Registration”

step 4: Read the instructions carefully, check the Acknowledgment box at the bottom of the page and then click on ‘Click here to proceed’.

Step 5: Submit the registration form, choose your preferred password, fill the captcha and then click on ‘Submit’

Step 6: Login to the portal again using your login credentials: generated Application ID and your password

Step 7: Fill the application form completely

Step 8: Upload relevant documents, photo and signature

Step 9: Pay the Application Fee Online and Submit the Application

Step 10: Download and save the confirmation page for reference
