SSC CGL 2023: Exam Overview
SSC CGL exam is an annual examination conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission to induct ‘Group B’ and ‘Group C’ officers in various Ministries and Departments of the Central Government.
As before, SSC CGL 2023 exam will be conducted in two tiers: Tier-1 and Tier-2. SSC CGL Tier-I Exam will be Objective type MCQ based written test while Tier-II Exam will be of three papers including skill test.
SSC CGL 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for SSC CGL exam, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the desired eligibility criteria as notified by the commission. In general, candidates need to have the following eligibility criteria to appear for SSC CGL exam:
citizenshipMust be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan
SSC CGL Age Limit- Must be between the age group of 18 years and 32 years
Qualification- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
Apart from the above eligibility criteria, candidates appearing for certain SSC CGL posts like Inspector and Sub-Inspector will also have to appear for the Physical Fitness Test.
