SSC CHSL 2023 Registration Ends Tomorrow For 1600 Vacancies, Here’s How To Apply

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the online application process for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination or CHSL 2023 tomorrow. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam through the official website – ssc.nic.in. The last date for online fee payment is June 10. Apart from this, candidates will have a chance to modify their application form on 14th and 15th June. Tier-I (Computer Based Examination) of SSC CHSL 2023 is scheduled to be held from August 2 to 22. The specific schedule for Tier II will be announced at a later date.

The objective of SSC CHSL exam is to recruit candidates for Group C posts including Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operator in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India as well as Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals. among others. This year around 1600 posts are tentatively notified by the commission.

eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification: Applicants must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. The candidate must possess the essential qualification on or before the cut-off date, which is August 1, 2023.

Age Range: Candidates age should be between 18 to 27 years as on August 1, 2023. Upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories candidates.

Selection Process:

The selection process for SSC CHSL consists of two parts:

  • Tier-I: It is a computer-based test consisting of objective type multiple choice questions.
  • Tier-II: This stage consists of Skill Test/ Typing Test.

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance of the candidates in Tier-II examination.

Application fee:

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 100. However, women, SC, ST, PWBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee.

  • Fill the details and generate login.
  • Now login and fill the application form.
  • Submit the required documents.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
