UP Police Recruitment 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is going to conduct direct recruitment for 52,699 constable posts, which is the biggest recruitment drive in the history of the state police. The tender will be published by July 15 for the selection of the executive organization responsible for written examination and other recruitment related works. As soon as the institution is selected, a written examination will be conducted, which is to be conducted by the end of this year. Initially there was a plan to recruit 33,757 posts, but due to a delay of 10 months in action, now the number of posts has increased to 52,699.
Selection Process
The selection process for UP Police Constable 2022 Recruitment will consist of the following stages:
1. Offline Written Test (OMR Based): Candidates will have to appear in an offline written test, which will be conducted in OMR format. The test will assess the knowledge and aptitude of the candidate in various subjects.
2. Document Verification: After the written test, the qualified candidates will be called for document verification. They will be required to provide necessary documents such as educational certificates, age certificates and caste/category certificates to verify their eligibility.
3. Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who clear the written test and document verification stage will have to undergo Physical Standard Test (PST). This test will evaluate the physical fitness and standards of the candidates, which include height, chest measurement and physical stamina.

4. Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully clear the PST will then have to undergo a medical examination. This test will ensure that the candidates are medically fit to perform the duties associated with the post of constable.
