Union Public Service Commission has issued an important notice Regarding rejection of applications for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023. This It has come to notice that some applications have been rejected for non-payment of fee. Candidates who have applied for the examination are advised to visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in to check the official notice.
According to the official notice, there are 80 candidates whose applications have been rejected. This decision was taken as confirmation was not received from the bank officials regarding receipt of fee payment of ₹100/- made by these candidates.
Applicants whose applications have been rejected have the option to appeal within 10 days by submitting the required documents as mentioned in the official notice. Original copies of the documentary evidence should be sent by speed post to Shri AK Roy, Under Secretary (CSP) at the following address: UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION EXAMINATION HALL BUILDING, HALL NO.2, 4TH FLOOR, DHOLPUR HOUSE, SHAHJAHAN ROAD, NEW DELHI-110069 . The appeal deadline is March 17, 2023.
If the valid documentary evidence is not received by the Commission by the due date, the application will not be considered for revival. No further communication/request will be entertained by the Commission after the above mentioned date.

UPSC will fill 1,105 vacancies through the recruitment process. As per the schedule, UPSC Prelims exam will be conducted on May 28, 2023 at various centers across the country.
