WBJEEB Announces PUMDET 2023 For Presidency University PG Admissions 2023: Details Here

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced that it will conduct a new PUMDET (Presidency University Masters Degree Entrance Test) 2023 for admission to postgraduate programs offered by Presidency University for the academic year 2023-24.

PUMDET 2023 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on July 9, 2023. WBJEEB is expected to start PUMDET application window from 31st January. PUMDET Registration cum Application Form will be accepted only in online mode at the official WBJEEB website – wbjeeb.nic.in. The PUMDET application deadline ends on February 21, 2023.

PUMDET 2023 exam will be an OMR based entrance test followed by WBJEEB also conduct an entrance counseling process like NTA JEE Main, NEET, MHT-CET and many other national and state level exams.

PUMDET exam will be conducted for admission to Master’s degree programs in subjects like Applied Economics, Applied Geology, Bengali, Chemistry, English, Geography, Hindi, History, Life Science, Mathematics, Philosophy, Sociology, Physics, Political Science and Statistics.

WBJEEB recently released a notice on its official website and announced the commencement of the new entrance exam. “The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct OMR based entrance test (PUMDET-2023) and counseling for admission to various Post Graduate (MA/M. Sc) courses in Presidency University for the academic session 2023-24,” read . Official WBJEEB Notice.

“Tentative date of examination: July 9, 2023 (Sunday). Online Registration for PUMDET-2023: 31.01.2023 to 21.02.2023,” WBJEEB added.

Earlier, for 2022, Presidency University PG Admission 2022 were purely merit based. However, this is not the first time that Presidency University will offer merit-based admission. The university last time conducted PUMDET as well as PUBDET (Presidency University Bachelor Degree Entrance Test) in the year 2020. However, in view of reeling COVID-19 Due to the pandemic, the university canceled both the tests and restricted its admission to merit-based only.
