‘Will Not Interfere’: SC Refuses To Postpone NEET PG 2022 Counselling, To Commence From Sept 1

NEET PG 2022 Counselling: The Supreme Court today said it will not interfere and stop the NEET-PG 2022 counseling as it cannot endanger the lives of the students. News agency ANI reported that the NEET PG counseling process will start from September 1.

Hearing a petition related to NEET PG 2022, the Supreme Court said that the counseling will take place on schedule. Candidates had questioned the authorities last week over their decision not to postpone NEET PG, but instead to conduct counseling after three months of the exam.

The writ suit questioned the decision of the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBE) not to provide NEET PG 2022 answer key and question paper.

According to the petitioners, there were many discrepancies in the marks of the applicants who took the exam this time. The candidates urged that the answer key be re-evaluated and students be allowed to contest the answers.

Several NEET PG candidates had requested in May that the NEET PG 2022 exam be postponed by 40 days due to the opposition to the current NEET PG 2021 counselling.

The registration process for round one seat allotment will take place from September 1 to September 4 at 12 noon and the cost can be paid by 8 pm. The results will be declared on 8 September. The reporting period for Round 1 will be from September 9 to September 13.
