Students of Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi, have claimed that during a college fest on Tuesday, March 28, several men breached the college’s boundary wall and harassed several students, news agency PTI reported.
The college students also pointed out that the college administration and the police did not respond to the matter. Activists of the All India Students’ Association (AISA) further alleged that the men raised slogans such as “Miranda, IP dono hamara (Miranda House and Indraprastha College are both ours)” and “Miranda nahi chhoda to IP bhi chhodenge”. In a similar incident in October 2022, students of Delhi University’s Miranda House College claimed that men trespassed the college boundaries and gates during an open Diwali. The men allegedly called out to students on campus and raised sexist slogans.
